This one gave me a mixed feelings, by the date I started writing this, I have just finished half of it. And everything went great, the author has managed to chain the timeline beautifully, created such a pleasant journey between past and present, until this thing appear. “Woke”1. Even though, the meaning behind it might be great and toward a better society. I see no meaning of implementing it into this story, at all. This thing really stopped me for a moment this afternoon, just to think of ‘Why?‘. However, I am the type of person that would finish the work I started, so final review coming soon.
Final update, I have finished the book 2 days ago. To be honest, it went pretty great the few last chapters, the characters finally learnt their lessons (as most novel ending). I can tell that not much “Woke” anymore, though some parts are but it is reasonable this time.
